Want to learn to play guitar? Blake is an experienced professional music teacher who has been playing guitar for over 50 years. He has been teaching music lessons for over 30 years to children age 5 up to adult. Many of his students have grown to be exceptional musicians. While learning to play an instrument you will also be taught music theory. Music theory consists of melody, rhythm, harmony, form, pitch and scales. They are all important components to becoming a successful musician. Consistency, Commitment, Dedication and Practice will be key to your progress. Even at more than 50 years playing Blake still uses his warm up scales to begin his practice at a minimum of two hours daily. You will be expected to practice at home.
